Travellers have always had Palermo on the top of their wishlist because of its glorious past, witnessed by Punic remains, Baroque churches or wonders from the times of the Florio family. The city has indeed a more contemporary and complex soul, combining lyricism, imagery and disturbance, which has been the breeding ground of artists that have thus attached a new meanhing to the Genius of Palermo.
This itinerary, created by art curator and historian Floriana Spanò, will take you to discover the private studies of some of the main representatives of contemporary art in Palermo, during a walk around the Politeama – Libertà neighbourhood.
